The video-blogger and comedian Franchesca Ramsey joins Kurt Andersen to host the first installment of Kings County. Comedian Kurt Braunohler of the IFC show Bunk performs stand-up and faces off against an audience member in a language quiz called “Tongue Skills.” Musicians Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl play live as The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger (GOASTT). New Yorker writer Paul Rudnick debuts a segment called “Gay Stuff with Paul Rudnick.” And, the whole cast performs a story about modern day life in Brooklyn. Plus: in need of a tagline, we turn to the audience.

The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger makes songs that are ornate, fanciful, tuneful, and unusual. It's a collaborative duo featuring Sean Lennon (son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono) and his partner in life and music, Charlotte Kemp Muhl. Host David Garland brings them to the WNYC Studio for lively conversation and performances.
