Fury Continues over Regents Scoring Problems

The city said a new system was supposed to make scoring faster and easier, but there were software problems. Meanwhile, some students will attend graduation ceremonies not knowing whether they have passed all of their exams.

McGraw-Hill Splits Into Two

The New York-based McGraw-Hill Companies announced Monday it will split up into two public companies, with one focused on education and the other centered on markets, featuring the Standard & Poor's unit, by the end of the year.
