Over 100 Die in Pipeline Explosion in Nairobi

Monday, September 12, 2011

Over 100 people are dead and more than 80 have been taken to the hospital after a gas pipeline exploded in Kenya's capital this morning. The blast, which took place in the Lunga Lunga industrial area, is believed to have been ignited by a lighted cigarette. Kevin Mwachiro, Nairobi correspondent for the BBC, reports on the latest.
