Yesterday, President Obama awarded the Medal of Freedom to 16 people – including some notable New Yorkers like Gloria Steinem, civil rights activist Bayard Rustin and Bill Clinton. Call in with your nominations for the Brian Lehrer Show Medal of Freedom. We’re looking for those who have made “an especially meritorious contribution to the interests of New York, New Jersey, civic engagement, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.”
