It's official. The commissioners of NYC Board of Elections have certified all the results from the June 26 primary, including naming incumbent Congressman Charles Rangel the winner of the Democratic primary for the 13th Congressional District.

Charles Rangel holds a slim 802 vote lead over his closest competitor, state Senator Adriano Espaillat, in the June 26primary race for the 13th Congressional District. On Thursday, the Board of Elections begins the process of counting some 2,000 absentee and affidavit ballots.
