World Cup Marketing: Global Push From Mega Brands

Coca-Cola, McDonald’s and Nike are among the companies pulling out the stops to promote the upcoming World Cup.

The World Cup is Coca-Cola’s biggest campaign and the company has released 32 versions of a new song to appeal to fans from all over the world.

Here & Now media analyst John Carroll tells host Jeremy Hobson that social media and mobile platforms offer new opportunities to reach bigger audiences.
