One of the best segments I've heard on this show in YEARS. So uplifting to hear from all these women who are CEOs of these libraries that are much more than libraries. It's awesome to hear all these different accents which really drive home 1) how diverse our city is and 2) how many people are reaching out to other immigrants of completely other origins. You only see this in America, especially in New York, and it makes me proud of my country and city.

Finally as a New Yorker, a banker who is always seeing the wealthy donate to fancy-pants organizations (Metropolitan this, Central Park that, Lincoln Center such and such), it is PHENOMENAL to see the Revson Foundation and the Brian Lehrer Show for looking at the smaller big fish who are having a major impact on society.

Thanks from this often too-jaded Manhattanite.
