Of course they don't understand the concept of "selling out" because to do so you have to first have in place a set of morals, principles, ethics to sell out from. Sadly, we have made so many aspects of living commercialized and "new toy" - "new game" oriented that even base or core ethics has little power when big money is involved. Fame and fortune -- even at the cost of dubious morality -- are what matter to Generation Like. This generation bases its morals and behavior from peer perception and capitalistic 1% activity. The rich and famous (or notorious) are equal in their opinion and "bucket lists".
