Producers/directors Linda Saffire and Adam Schlesinger join us to discuss their new documentary, “Restless Creature: Wendy Whelan,” along with the film’s subject, former New York City Ballet star Wendy Whelan. The film follows Whelan as she grapples with the physical and emotional realities of being a professional ballet dancer in her mid-40s.
“Restless Creature: Wendy Whelan” opens on May 24 at Film Forum (209 West Houston St., at Varick St.) and the Elinor Bunin Theater (144 W. 65th St.).
