Woody Allen @ Cafe Carlyle (New York, NY) - It’s not a secret that Woody Allen is a huge music fan. His movie scores are filled with great standards and jazz. It’s also well known that he is an avid clarinetist, performing regularly at Café Carlyle. This year he has been performing with The Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band. What you might not know is that this Monday marks the final performance of their run. Tierney Sutton @ Birdland (New York, NY) - Jonathan Schwartz rightfully named Tierney Sutton a "citizen of jazz". She is a vocalist who has enjoyed a fruitful career devoted to the American Songbook and recently joined The Jonathan Channel for Sunday in New York at BAM. Cecile McLorin Salvant @ Damrosch Park (New York, NY) - Midsummer Night Swing is an annual event presented by Lincoln Center where you can come early for a Lindy Hop dance lesson and stay late for the show. On Tour: John Pizzarelli @ Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater (Vail, CO) John Pizzarelli heads west to Colorado to perform at “Bravo! Vail” with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra on Friday. On Tour: Renee Rosnes @ The Promontory (Chicago, IL) - Thursday evening, pianist Renee Rosnes is in Chicago with Steve Wilson and Peter Washington at The Promontory. This new restaurant and music space in the Hyde Park neighborhood is about as underground as they come right now. Maria Neckam @ Blue Whale (Los Angeles, CA) -  If you’re in Los Angeles on Sunday night then the Blue Whale is the place to be.
