A Chinese-American Family Embarks on a Cross-Country Trip in, 'The Wangs vs. the World'

Journalist and author Jade Chang discusses her debut novel The Wangs v. the World. When Charles Wang’s cosmetic business fails, he decides that the only way to save his family is to reclaim property in China that was taken from his family decades ago. But first, he must take his family to his oldest daughter’s house in upstate New York, which kicks off their epic journey across the United States.
