“Violet” on Broadway

The Leonard Lopate Show | May 8, 2014

Sutton Foster talks about the Roundabout Theatre Company’s Broadway production of “Violet,”  with the play’s director, Leigh Silverman. It tells the story of a young woman’s quest for beauty amidst the image-obsessed landscape of the 1960s. Facially disfigured in a childhood accident, Violet dreams of a miraculous transformation through the power of faith. “Violet” is playing at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway.
