The prototype was on display for a week so that New Yorkers could experience its wider doors, flip-up seats, redesigned poles and open gangways. If you didn't get to see it in person, check it out in the video.
The MTA will start testing the new cars in 2020. They'll serve the B division — aka the lettered lines.
