In 1981, Rod Canion and two friends met in a Houston diner and created a tech company that set out to build a portable PC to rival IBM. The film “Silicon Cowboys,” directed by Jason Cohen, explores the story of Compaq Computer, its eventual demise and shows how it shaped the tech world today.
