New York City has got a major man deficit - there are 100,000 fewer college-educated men than there are women.

Jon Birger, contributor to Fortune magazine and former senior writer at Fortune and Money and the author of Date-onomics: How Dating Became a Lopsided Numbers Game (Workman Publishing Company, 2015), says one inevitable outcome (that's worth embracing) is more "mixed-collar" marriages in the near future.
