Uncovering North Korea's Secret Abductions in Japan

Journalist Robert Boynton investigated how North Korea kidnapped Japanese citizens during the 1970s in his book "The Invitation Only Zone: The True Story of North Korea’s Abduction Project ."  The prisoners were kept in camps and forced them to spy for the government. 

 Event: Robert Boynton will do a Q&A on the topic of North Korean abductions on February 9th following the 7:30 p.m. screening of "Abduction: The Megumi Yokota Story" at the IFC Center (323 Sixth Ave. @ West Third St.).
