The Brian Lehrer Show | Nov 14, 2016

Kathy Cramer, Political Science professor and the director of the Morgridge Center for Public Service at University of Wisconsin-Madison and the author of The Politics of Resentment: Rural Consciousness in Wisconsin and the Rise of Scott Walker (University of Chicago Press, forthcoming March 2016), spent decades interviewing rural communities in Wisconsin. She discusses what she’s learned about the political ideals and motives of these rural Americans, many of whom helped propel Donald Trump to the White House.
