An NBC/Wall Street Journal poll out this week shows Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump 46 to 35 percent nationally in the four-candidate race for the presidency. In a head-to-head matchup, Clinton leads Trump 52 to 38, according to the data. The poll also shows Clinton pulling away in many battleground states.

But the race is still close in Ohio. The Real Clear Politics polling average puts Clinton half a percentage point ahead of Trump in the state.
