No matter what other things he did in his life, Patrick Macnee will forever be known (and appreciated!) for his deliciously suave role as the mysterious, umbrella-wielding secret agent John Steed in the British television series, “The Avengers.” He starred opposite Diana Rigg, who played his cohort, Emma Peel. He died of natural causes at the age of 93. But you can still hear his interview with Leonard from September, 1989.
