Tim Wu, professor at Columbia Law School and chairman of the media reform organization, Free Press, joins us to discuss, The Attention Merchants: The Epic Scramble to Get Inside Our Heads. Wu, best known for his development of Net Neutrality theory, looks at the rise of industrial-scale “attention harvesting” as part of a business model by firms to capture the attention of individuals for reseal to advertisers.
