The Two Minute Take

The NYPR Archive Collections | Jan 1, 2000

The funny, frustrating business of acting for the movies, in short takes. Love scenes at 9 a.m., creating brainless roles and the battles against type casting are all wryly recalled by hostess Aileen Pringle with an all-star cast - Myrna Loy, Henry Fonda, Janet Gaynor, Mae Murray, Basil Rathbone, Melvyn Douglas, Ralph Bellamy, Walter Abel, Roddy McDowell, Nita Naldi and Rod Steiger.
