Filmmaker Steve James joins us to discuss his new documentary “Abacus: Small Enough to Jail,” which chronicles the prosecution of a family-owned bank in New York’s Chinatown. He's also be joined by Vera and Jill Sung, two of the film’s subjects. The documentary tells the story of Abacus Federal Savings of Chinatown, which is owned by the Sungs. The bank became the only one in the U.S. to face criminal charges following the 2008 financial crisis. Doctorow short story, the movie follows a successful lawyer bored with life. He eventually abandons his family by hiding in the attic of his garage, where he secretly watches his wife, children and neighbors.
