Graeme Wood, a national correspondent for The Atlantic, joins us to discuss his book, The Way of the Strangers: Encounters with the Islamic State. Actor and playwright Jack Fry talks about his new one-man show, “Einstein!” based on the recent release of 15,000 documents about the life of the iconic physicist. Illustrator and cartoonist Edward Sorel on his latest book Mary Astor’s Purple Diary: The Great American Sex Scandal of 1936. New York Times labor and workplace reporter Noam Scheiber gives an update on the nationwide “Fight For 15” protests among low-wage workers following Donald Trump’s election and the appointment of Andrew Puzder as secretary of labor.
