"Stars in Her Eyes", with Hank Williams, is about a woman named Lena who works in a manufacturing plant. She meets a man named Joe and they end up marrying. Joe leaves on a business trip and during this time Lena meets a friend of Joe's named Leo. They see each other socially while Joe is away. During one such meeting, after several drinks Leo and Lena have intercourse and Lena contracts syphilis. When Lena informs Joe about contracting syphilis, he leaves her for a short time but returns and the couple ends up reconciling.
