Eric Harland @ Highline Ballroom (New York, NY) - Tuesday night, join multi-Grammy nominated drummer Eric Harland as he celebrates the release of his new album, "Vipassana". Doors open at 6:30PM and the show is at 8PM.

Ralph Alessi Baida Quartet @ Birdland (New York, NY) - Called a "fascinating presence on New York bandstands" by The New York Times,  trumpeter Ralph Alessi takes the stage at Birdland Tuesday through Sunday this week. He'll be joined by Jason Moran (piano), Drew Gress (bass and Nasheet Waits (drums). Doors at 7:30PM, show is at 8:30PM.

Satch Plays Fats @ Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola (New York, NY) -  In 1955 Louis Armstrong paid tribute to pianist Fats Waller with his album: Satch Plays Fats. Thursday evening, trumpeter Bria Skonberg performs material from the classic album. Skonberg will be joined by Evan Arntzen (bass); Dalton Ridenhour (piano) and Joe Saylor (drums). Show is at 7:30PM.

Albany Riverfront Jazz Festival @ Jennings Landing (Albany, NY) - This Saturday, enjoy a free day of jazz. For over a decade, this festival has presented a wide range of internationally recognized jazz performers. This year is no different, the line up includes: vocalist Catherine Russell, Grammy-award winning drummer Jack DeJohnette & Ravi Coltrane, flamenco guitarist Maria Zemantauski and many more. Audra Mariel @ 16 Prospect Wine Bar & Bistro (New York, NY) - Recently on a trip to New Orleans, vocalist Audra Mariel found herself surrounded by obscure songs from the early 20th century, and she shifted her style.  Sunday night, she'll perform work from her new self-titled release which was inspired by her recent travels.

Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella on Broadway (New York, NY) - This is the first time that Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella has seen the Broadway stage. Celebrate Joe Temperley @ Coca-Cola Generations in Jazz Festival (New York, NY) - Join Jazz at Lincoln Center as they celebrate their elder statesman, Joe Temperley. As a young Baratonist in NYC, Temperley developed alongside jazz greats; Buddy Rich, Clark Terry, Woody Herman. This weekend, Temperley celebrates with young talent including: Jonathan Batiste Trio, Brianna Thomas, Bruce Harris and more.
