An Unlikely Sport Opens Doors for Bronx Student

The sport of squash is traditionally for a select few who play at country clubs and boarding schools. Growing up in the Bronx, Katiria Sanchez had never heard of the sport until someone from CitySquash, a program for urban youth, invited her to try out. Now she plays on the squash team at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. She says the sport has opened up many doors for her and others.
