Desperate Chaos Engulfs South Sudan

The world's youngest country faces even more devastation as its civil war continues. Just two months after the United Nations declared a famine in two of South Sudan's northern counties, a total of five counties could face the same catastrophe.
The U.N. has accused the South Sudanese government and rebels of blocking aid and lifesaving supplies. Now, at least 290,000 people are at risk of dying from malnourishment in the country. Many of them wait several hours to receive the smallest amounts of food from aid workers. Thousands of others have fled to camps in neighboring countries, like Uganda and Ethiopia.
