The Olympics have been dominating social media this week.

Fans of American swimmer Simone Manuel took the social media when she became the first African-American woman to win an individual swimming event — gold in the women’s 100 meter — and NBC did not play her medal ceremony live.

Chinese swimmer Fu Yuahhui has also been getting a lot of attention online, as has a story that was retracted by the Daily Beast about gay Olympians.
