Trying to find the part of the show when the caller talked about grilling peaches with shallot & bacon; did he put the shallot & bacon inside of the peaches & grill, or grill the items separately and then combine???

Hi Erin,

I also love mustard greens. They are great sauteed with roasted garlic butter. Or you can chop them, steam them and toss with cooked orzo and add grated sharp white cheddar cheese. Also great when sauteed with lots of chopped shallots and made into a frittata.

Hi Brooke,

Thanks for your question. I always have ground cumin, za'atar, ground coriander, garam masala, gomasio (sesame seeds mixed with nori), fennel seed, and five-spice powder (great for fruit desserts and fabulous in fresh cherry ices).

Hello! I have just been given the spiciest, most wonderful mustard greens. I have never cooked mustard greens before. What do you recommend I do with them?

Best 3-ingredient cold summer soup
Sautée onions and add coarsly diced fennel bulb. Sauté 5 mins. Add water to cover and boil until soft. Then whiz with an immersion blender and add yogurt, salt and pepper. Chill and serve garnished with green fennel fronds.

Also - check out Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream - her base is excellent. She claims the egg yolk distorts the flavor of the ice cream, and opts to use a corn start and milk slurry to emulsify.

My favorite 3 ingredient summer recipe: Ginger peach soup.
Ginger, peaches, buttermilk. In the blender. Delicious. You can also add a touch of apple juice

Hi Rozanne! What spices do you like to keep in your pantry that pair especially well with summer produce? Any "un-traditional" ones?
