Shakespeare's Wandering Hero 'Pericles' Returns to the Stage

The Leonard Lopate Show | Mar 25, 2016

Actors Christian Camargo and Lily Englert join us to discuss their production of Shakespeare’s “Pericles" along with Jeffrey Horowitz, founding artistic director of the Theatre for a New Audience. Considered to be one of Shakespeare’s late plays, it tells the story of Pericles, Prince of Tyre who embarks on a long, meandering Mediterranean sea voyage.

The Theatre for a New Audience production of “Pericles” at Polonsky Shakespeare Center (262 Ashland Place) runs through April 10th. For tickets and show information, click here.
