Sexual Harassment Is Out of the Whisper Network. Let's Talk

WNYC News | Nov 8, 2017

Since October's New York Times exposé of sexual harassment and assault allegations against Harvey Weinstein, there's been a domino effect of stripping men in powerful positions of their official titles and jobs.

This issue of people in high places—our cultural gatekeepers, our bosses and supervisors—feeling entitled to sexually harass and assault is not something we're willing to let fall out of the public conversation.

So, let's talk.

WNYC will continue to cover harassment, how it affects and shapes our workplaces, our children, our language and our social interactions. But we want to hear from you, too. What's on your mind at this moment? What's not being discussed enough, in your opinion? Is this a watershed moment, and if not, how can we make it one?

Help us shape the conversation going forward. Leave us a voicemail at 855-869-9692. Or tweet @WNYC or @shubasu. (You can also send @shubasu a Direct Message on Twitter, if you'd prefer your conversation to happen privately.)
