“Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief,” is a new documentary based on the book by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Lawrence Wright. The documentary profiles eight former members of the Church of Scientology, shining a light on how the church cultivates true believers, detailing their experiences as well as investigating what they were willing to do in the name of religion. Wright discusses the film along with former Scientology senior executive Mike Rinder, who is featured in the documentary. The film opens 3/13 at Lincoln Center’s Eleanor Bunin Monroe Film Center and will debut on HBO on March 29th at 8:00PM ET/PT.
