Russia Expands Control Over Crimea As World Tensions Rise

Britain’s foreign secretary says the situation in Ukraine is Europe’s biggest crisis in this century. Ukraine has mobilized troops even as Russia continues to expand and consolidate its military position in the region of Crimea.

Serhii Plokhii, professor of Ukrainian history at Harvard University, joins Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson to discuss the situation.
