Four women are accusing Roy Moore, Senate Republican candidate from Alabama, of sexual assault and harassment this week, according to a report from The Washington Post.

Leigh Corfman says she was 14 years old at the time of her sexual encounter with Moore, who was then a 32-year-old assistant district attorney in Alabama. The other three women were between the ages of 16 and 18 at the time of the conduct.

Roy Moore has denied these allegations and is rejecting calls to drop out of the Senate race. The special election is scheduled for December 12.

Investigative reporter Beth Reinhard broke the story for The Washington Post alongside her colleague Stephanie McCrummen. Reinhard joins The Takeaway to explain what the accusers allege and how these allegations may shape the Senate race.

This segment is hosted by Todd Zwillich.
