Democrats in the House of Representatives are staging a sit-in on the floor of Congress today to demand a vote on gun control before the July 4th recess.

Ahead of the sit-in, Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) gave an impassioned speech on gun control on the floor of the House. Takeaway Technical Director Jay Cowit decided to put a beat to the congressman's speech. Listen below.
