Remembering Dr. King

Wednesday, January 15, 2014

Although it isn’t observed until Monday, today, January 15, is Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday. He would have been 85.

In August, we marked the 50th anniversary of his “I Have a Dream” speech. This year is the 50th anniversary of the speech King delivered when he accepted the Nobel Peace Prize on Dec. 10, 1964. King was assassinated in Memphis on April 4, 1968.
