A Refresher on Net Neutrality and the FCC

Under Trump-appointed Chairman Ajit Pai, the FCC is planning to call a December vote regarding the future of net neutrality, which requires that broadband providers treat all data equally.

Siva Vaidhyanathan, professor of media studies and director of the Center for Media and Citizenship at the University of Virginia, gives a net neutrality refresher and breaks down what's at stake in the FCC's proposal to end it.
