CANADIAN HABS FAN! from NYC

It perturbs me how only now that NY is in the final round all of a sudden we have hockey "mania". I have been trying to watch the playoffs from the start and have been left to watch live glitchy streams from Russia to catch NY games. Now of course that NY is in the final round, NBC is broadcasting the games. (I don't have cable.) Why is only the final round broadcast on regular TV? Because there is not enough of an interest in hockey... unless the big trophy is at stake.
In Canada, all hockey games are broadcast, year round, on basic TV. No cable required.
I AM CANADIAN. I AM A HABS FAN. (Don't mean to offend... it's just in our DNA to proclaim this at all times.)

Not nice to talk so long about baseball during what is supposed to be a segment on the New York Rangers and the awesome sport of ICE HOCKEY. Booooooooo!

Hockey is the best of the four major sports because the action is nearly non-stop. Baseball has its batters readjusting their gear between every pitch, football has a million tv timeouts and of course in basketball the final two minutes of a game takes a half hour to play out.

Also, the strength and skill of a hockey player, to skate full speed, control the puck and fight off a defender...AND THEN to even attempt a shot...is very exciting.

Hockey will become more popular with high definition TV. It was too hard to follow the puck in the old days. Also, they need to reflect NYC more. Maybe some Dominicans, YES THAT'S THE ANSWER "DOMINICANS ON ICE!!!!!"

The Zambonis will be double parked!!

Brian,

With all of the important news out there, it's outrageous and disgraceful that you would choose to squander precious and valuable airtime to discuss the NY Rangers.

Have you no shame? Have you no sense of decency?
