Please forward this to John Pizzarelli:
Hi, John-
Congrats on your wonderful programming on SiriusXM.
Maybe you could help me re a little research.

In 1956 I was training in Canada at the RCAF base at Portage la Prairie. In the Officers’ Mess we had a no-charge juke-box-like player that I think was loaded with 78s. One of my favorites was “Skyliner” by Charlie Barnet. I would like to find out, and acquire, a recording of that same version. I have downloaded a similar Charlie Barnet “Club Mix” version of Skyliner… “Electro Swing, the Club”, but I think it’s not quite the same. Can you provide any info on what version I might have been listening to in 1956?

Best wishes, Fred Peterson E/m: fred.peterson99@gmail.com
