What a sad and beautifully written story about institutionalized cheating on test scores at Parks Middle School and other public schools in Atlanta. I have followed education reform with great interest for years, and have seen that the widely touted miracles of education reform have always turned out to be frauds. The problem is that true reform, and truly sustained improvement in student achievement, has to come from home as well as from school.
