Plan to widen NJ Turnpike extension drawing ire of neighbors, climate change activists

Neighbors and activists say a $10.7 billion plan to widen the New Jersey Turnpike extension in North Jersey and replace the Newark Bay Bridge will worsen pollution, draw more cars and push traffic into already overburdened neighborhoods on both sides of the Holland Tunnel.
