Phoebe Robinson Breaks Stereotypes with Comedy

Stand-up comedian, writer, podcast host and actress Phoebe Robinson talks about her new collection of essays called, You Can’t Touch My Hair: And Other Things I Still Have to Explain. Robinson, who hosts the WNYC podcast “2 Dope Queens” with Jessica Williams, in addition to “Sooo Many White Guys,” shares her original, witty and candid observations about everything from race and Hollywood casting calls, to her love for U2 and Billy Joel.

Events: The book launch will be held at the Housing Works Bookstore Cafe (126 Crosby Street, b/w Prince and W. Houston) on Tuesday, Oct. 4th at 7 p.m. 

Phoebe Robinson will be signing copies of her book at New York Comic Con at the Javits Center (655 W 34th St.) on Thursday, October 6th from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
