Fitbit is one of the many self-tracking devices out there that you can use to monitor your exercise, sleep, diet and many other aspects of your life.
There’s also the BodyMedia FIT Armband, the Zeo Sleep Coach, DirectLife acceleration monitor, the Gruve movement tracker. They’re all part of a technological wave known in nerd-speak as “personal informatics.”
