Pennsylvania Town Hoping To Recover From 'Recovery Houses'

Many people who get out of residential treatment or detox centers for addiction aren’t able to live on their own. So they go to “recovery homes,” also called sober living houses.

In recent years, the number of these unregulated residences in one working class suburb just north of Philadelphia has ballooned to more than 100.
