Award-winning translators Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky join us to discuss Novels, Tales, Journeys: The Complete Prose of Alexander Pushkin, a new translation of works by Russia’s greatest Romantic poet. The collection includes romantic adventures, imaginative historical fiction, five short stories of The Late Tales of Ivan Petrovich Belkin and his short novel, The Captain's Daughter.

Events: The translators will be at the 92nd Street Y (1395 Lexington Avenue) on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. in conversation with Elif Batuman, followed by a Q&A with the audience and signing.

On Monday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m., they'll be at McNally Jackson Bookstore (52 Prince Street) in conversation with Billy Hough.
