Pope Francis has named a new archbishop of Newark: Joseph Tobin. He's currently the archbishop of Indianapolis, and he'll also become a cardinal later this month.

Father Thomas Reese, senior analyst at the National Catholic Reporter, explains what qualities Archbishop Tobin will bring to the archdiocese, and why this is a surprising turn of events for Newark.
