New York Philomusica

The ensemble New York Philomusica joins host Robert Sherman in a program of chamber music. Works include Prokofiev's Overture on Hebrew Themes, Glazunov's Idyll and Serenade, the Lento espressivo and Allegro giocoso from Arnold Bax' Oboe Quintet, and Haydn's Divertimento in E-flat major, Hob.II:21.

The program, sponsored by Marine Midland Bank, was recorded at the New York Times Auditorium before a studio audience.
