There's been a lot of talk about the "silent voters" who helped Donald Trump win the presidency. Both rural and urban voters who had trepidation to openly state their opinions for fear of being lumped into the condemnation hurled at Trump supporters made their stances clear in the voting booth. 

Asra Nomani is a former Wall Street Journal reporter, co-founder of the Muslim Reform Movement, and author of "Standing Alone In Mecca: A Pilgrimage Into The Heart Of Islam." She's Muslim, pro-choice and supports same sex marriage, and she voted for Donald Trump.
