A Musical Time Machine

The Takeaway | Apr 8, 2016

On Friday, we take a step back from the news to explore what's happening online, on television and on the radio that brings the arts, music and entertainment to life.

Melissa Locker is a culture reporter whose work has been featured in The Guardian and Time among others, and this week she brings us www.radiooooo.com. It lets you travel the world with a click of your mouse, using the site as a sort of time machine to various musical periods. Anywhere from Columbia in the 1950s, Tahiti in the 1960s to Lithuania today.
