Chris Hayes On America's 'Colony In A Nation'

The Leonard Lopate Show | May 26, 2017

Emmy Award-winning MSNBC host Chris Hayes joins us to discuss his book A Colony in a Nation. Hayes argues that the U.S. is drifting towards a police state that venerates the law and obsesses over order at the risk of civil rights. Through reporting and research, he looks at how fear causes us to make dangerous and unfortunate choices, both in our society and at the personal level.
